1. About Us

Welcome to Julia’s Floral Creations, a small, independent, family-run business based in Cheshire, England.

We specialise in beautiful handmade floral arrangements, decorative wreaths, personalised wooden gifts, engraved plaques, jewellery boxes, memory boxes and other handcrafted products.

We take great pride in the quality of our products and the personal service we provide.

These Terms & Conditions explain the conditions under which products are purchased through our website.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Our Products

All our products are carefully designed, selected or handcrafted with attention to detail.

As many of our products are handmade, slight variations in colour, shape, positioning, natural wood grain or decorative finish may occur.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure our photographs and descriptions accurately represent the products offered.

Any significant changes to an agreed product will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.

3. Personalised and Bespoke Products

We offer personalised wooden gifts, engraved plaques, memory boxes, jewellery boxes and other bespoke products.

Customers are responsible for checking the spelling of names, dates, messages and other personalisation details submitted with their orders.

Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Products made to a customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect customers’ rights where products are faulty, incorrectly personalised by us or do not match the agreed description.

4. Prices and Payments

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

Product prices and applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed before an order is completed.

Our standard UK postage and packaging charge is £8 per item.

Any applicable taxes will be included or clearly identified as required by law.

We reserve the right to change prices, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Payment must be made using an accepted payment method unless otherwise agreed.

5. Placing an Order

When placing an order, customers should ensure that all personal details, delivery information and personalisation instructions are correct.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of the order.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact the customer and refund any payment already taken for the unavailable goods.

6. UK Delivery and Postage

Julia’s Floral Creations offers postal delivery throughout the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Standard postage and packaging is £8 per item.

Orders containing multiple items will incur a postage charge of £8 for each item.

We do not currently offer a customer collection service.

All products are carefully packaged to help protect them during transit.

As some products are handmade or personalised, preparation and dispatch times may vary.

Estimated delivery times will be communicated where appropriate.

We will deliver within the agreed timeframe or, where no timeframe has been agreed, without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made, unless otherwise agreed.

If an order is delayed, lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us through our website.

Responsibility for goods normally passes to the customer when they, or someone nominated by them, physically receives the order.

7. Returns and Cancellations

We want every customer to be delighted with their purchase.

For most standard, ready-made products purchased online, customers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving their order.

Customers wishing to cancel should notify us through our website’s Contact Us page within the applicable cancellation period.

After notifying us of cancellation, customers normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for direct return postage costs, provided these costs were disclosed before purchase.

Customers should package returned items carefully to prevent damage.

Customers may inspect goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Any excessive handling that reduces their value may result in a lawful deduction from the refund.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will include the product price and any standard outbound delivery charges required by law.

Refunds will be issued within the legally required timeframe, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold a refund for returned goods until we receive them or receive evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.

8. Personalised Product Returns

Products made to individual customer specifications or clearly personalised are generally not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation.

Examples include wooden products engraved with specific names, dates, photographs or personalised messages.

However, customers retain their statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not match the agreed specification.

9. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

We take great care in preparing and packaging every order.

If a product arrives damaged, is faulty or is not as described, please contact us through the Contact Us page on our website.

Please provide your order details and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us investigate but are not a requirement for exercising statutory rights.

Where required by law, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund, repair or replacement.

We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods where legally required.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Handmade Product Variations

Our floral arrangements, wreaths and wooden products are individually crafted or finished.

Minor variations in natural materials, wood grain, decorative positioning or colour may occur.

These variations form part of the character of handmade products and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Products will nevertheless conform to their descriptions and meet applicable consumer quality requirements.

11. Product Care

Customers should follow any care instructions provided.

Artificial floral arrangements and wreaths should be handled carefully and protected from conditions that could cause fading or damage.

Unless specifically described as weatherproof, products should not be assumed suitable for prolonged exposure to rain, strong sunlight or extreme weather.

Wooden products should be protected from excessive moisture, heat and prolonged direct sunlight.

12. Customer-Supplied Designs and Photographs

Customers supplying photographs, logos or artwork for personalised products should ensure they have the necessary rights or permission to use them.

We reserve the right to decline requests involving unlawful, offensive or potentially infringing material.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect our customers’ privacy and are committed to protecting personal information.

Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Please refer to our website’s Privacy Policy for further information.

14. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Original product photographs, website descriptions and designs created by Julia’s Floral Creations remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

They must not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks and designs remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Customer Service and Complaints

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

If you have any questions, concerns or complaints, please contact us through the Contact Us page on our website.

We aim to respond promptly and resolve issues fairly and professionally.

16. Our Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.

Changes will be published on our website.

The terms applicable to an order will normally be those in force when the order was placed, unless otherwise required by law or agreed with the customer.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring legal proceedings that apply to them.
